• Host regular town hall meetings and attend community council meetings and community events.

• Empower Parent Teacher Associations & School Community Councils to advocate for each school and neighborhood.

• Champion an inclusive public process for recently closed schools (e.g., James Madison) to identify community needs and create a community vision for their future.

• Engaging with Spanish speaking families, to provide clear, accessible, multilingual communication and assurances that schools are safe spaces.

• Utilize the James Madison Elementary property to be a community asset and ensure community input in any decisions.
